Traveling as Couple
Stayed here 2 nights and they were the longest I've had in a while. Tossed and turned trying to fluff up the flat pillow. Second night the temperature outside went down to the 20's and it was so cold. The small heating unit on the wall gave about as much heat as a light bulb. Bathroom was tiny and towels were too. If you stay here, beg for a room off the highway. It was unbearably noisy. Continental breakfast was small and typical, but fresh. Room was small and plain but relatively clean and TV worked. Our building was next to busy road with loud traffic. Ask for a room in one of the buildings away from the road. Solo Traveler
The hotel is not up to two stars. It is small, old and lacks amenities. The rooms have poor climate control and some rooms are very noisy from the hall activities and traffic just outside the window.

The Apple Tree completely met my expectations, it was inexpensive, clean, conveniently located to my destination and the bed was comfortable.
